Lash Lift and Tint Guildford

LASH LIFT & TINT
at Just Beauty Guildford

Lash Lift (also known as Lash Volume Lift – LVL) is a lifting technique designed to give you longer-looking lashes without the need for lash extensions.  It will look as if you have used a really good eyelash curler, only this lift lasts for 6-8 weeks.  Eyelashes are lifted and lengthened at the root using a specially designed serum. Lash Lift is an easy way to instantly brighten and open up the eyes and the eye area.

A tint is also applied to make your lashes more prominent (appearance of thicker darker lashes).  Tints are very popular with people who have pale blonde lashes or lighter lashes, but a tint can enhance ANY colour.  A tint is a brilliant way to obtain several weeks of dark, full lashes without needing mascara.  Please allow an hour for your Eyelash Lift and Tint treatment.

EYELASH LIFT & TINT ~ INFORMATION

Is Lift & Tint similar to Lash Extensions?  No. Lash Lifts are completely different treatments, with different end results.  With a Lash Lift, no additional lashes are attached, your natural lashes are curled and tinted.  It will give you a lovely natural look with more defined and fuller-looking lashes because they are so uplifted. WILL I NEED A PATCH TEST?

A patch test is required at least 48 hrs before your Lash Lift appointment. We use a specialised serum to help your eyelashes and a tint to colour them, so it a quick test to ensure your eye area likes the treatment is needed.

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

Please arrive with no eye makeup on.  Please also remove any contact lenses if you wear them. If you wear waterproof mascara on a regular basis please stop at least 2 days before treatment, as the chemicals in waterproof mascara are very drying.

AFTERCARE FOR YOUR LASH LIFT

After-care is pretty straightforward. Don’t get lashes wet or apply anything to them for 24 hours. Don’t use waterproof mascara if possible. Brush the lashes daily.. they will look great and deserve it! Use a lash conditioner to keep them in tip-top nourished condition.

Will this damage my eyelashes?2021-10-28T14:32:30+01:00

No …. if you follow all the advice on pre and post care.  The lifting solutions are only applied to the new growth area of the lashes, down towards the base and up a bit.  Never to the ends of the lashes.

Why can’t I wear waterproof mascara?2021-10-28T14:32:25+01:00

Waterproof mascaras have harsh chemicals in them which are extremely drying to your lashes.  Plus it takes a lot of rubbing and pulling the lashes to remove stubborn waterproof mascara.  This results in weakened lashes that are prone to breakage and over shedding.
